About Oxford Music Academy

With over 250 students, Oxford Music Academy is the most popular place for music lessons in the community for both children and adults. The academy began as a single piano studio and has grown to also offer instruction in violin, viola, cello, voice, drums, percussion, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, flute, piccolo, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and French horn.

“My son was so excited after his first lesson. He wanted to tell all our family how it went.”

One Place for All Your Music Needs

Lessons

We are the only place in Oxford that offers lessons in almost every popular instrument. Families can save time and money when multiple students can take lessons on the same day at the same location.

Sheet Music

Discovering the perfect repertoire is a crucial source of motivation for our students. Alongside our extensive collection of printed sheet music and instructional books, our students and teachers can explore our vast digital library featuring over 300,000 songs and arrangements.

Instuments

If you do not have an instrument yet, we can help with that too! Our rent-to-own instrument program offers students an affordable way to get started without investing thousands of dollars upfront. We can provide almost any instrument you need for band, orchestra, or private lessons. Learn More ->

I love how we can come at one time and lessons for different instruments can be taught, in the same location, making it convenient for families!”

Multiple Teachers and Methods

We have multiple music teachers from diverse backgrounds with university training and/or professional performance experience who are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them.

Here is the deal. You know every adult who took music lessons when they were young and “didn’t stick with it”? It’s because they didn’t have a teacher who understood and could cater the student. This academy does that. Keeping the students engaged and motivated. What more could you ask for?”
— Shelagh M.

Ensemble and Performance Opportunities

One of the most rewarding experiences a student can have is making music with others. After students get some experience with their instrument, they enjoy joining our ensembles or performing in recitals.

The girls have been with the studio for several years and are so happy with the innovative, fun lesson set-ups. They love to perform now, and have overcome their stage fright. The confidence they have developed in music has spilled over into their academics and athletics.”

Wide Range of Lesson Times

We are the only place in Oxford that offers music lessons on weekdays and weekends from early in the morning to late at night to accommodate your busy schedule. If you are a homeschool parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunchtime lesson spots.

You encourage and guide rather than dictate me through the learning process. It’s amazing that after only 1 year, I’m playing pieces that are at an intermediate level.”

Trophies, Certificates and Awards to Celebrate Achievement

Students have the option to participate in numerous festivals, competitions, contests, and challenges which are extremely motivating for students. Our instructors belong to several professional organizations which provide students the opportunity to participate in numerous enrichment programs.

My daughter started taking singing lessons here, by the end, my other four all wanted to take lessons. My girls never complain about going (which is amazing)”
